Isner Wins for the Fifth Time at Atlanta, Zeballos Stays Hot in Doubles
FILA sponsored tennis player John Isner continued his impressive 2018 campaign Sunday, defeating Ryan Harrison 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to capture the BB&T Atlanta Open title. The win marks Isner’s fifth win in his last six attempts in Atlanta, and is his second consecutive win in the final over Harrison.

Isner used a dominant forehand all week to overcome the likes of Alex de Minaur, Mischa Zverev and Matthew Ebden en route to the final. “It’s incredible, and I think I said it last year, I feel like there may come a time where I’m not back in the finals, or I’m not the champion again, but as it stands right now, I’m very happy to be the champ here,” said Isner of his remarkable history at the BB&T Atlanta Open.

Isner is in the midst of his career best season on the ATP World Tour, having secured his first Masters 1000 title earlier in the year at the Miami Open. Isner also made his career first Grand Slam semifinal, two weeks ago at Wimbledon.

The win in Hamburg is Zeballo’s second in as many weeks (Båstad), and third overall in 2018. “It is amazing," said Zeballos. "I have been watching this tournament since I was a kid. It is a very important tournament and it is such an honor to win this. We are really, really happy."

Zeballos has now accumulated 10 career tour-level doubles championships, six of which have come with Peralta. Zeballos is currently ranked No. 31 in the men’s doubles ladder.

FILA is the Official Sports Brand of São Paulo International Marathon for the Fourth Consecutive Year
The São Paulo International Marathon is considered one of the most challenging competitions, with 42k, 24k, 8k or 4k courses. This is the fourth consecutive year that FILA has sponsored the event and to celebrate, the brand prepared activations at kits' removal, offering an opportunity to test the FILA Kenya Racer 3 (KR3) running shoes and check out the newest colorways of the model: Lime/Black and Grape/Poppy Red.

The competition, to be held on Sunday, April 9th, will feature athletes from the FILA Running Team, going through the main areas of São Paulo. Participants were able to visit the FILA booth and enjoy the featured activations. This included postural and kinematics evaluation, aimed at analyzing how bones and muscles organize themselves to deal with the gravity and forces that work on the body, as well as body composition analysis, which verifies the physiological data of each athlete.

FILA offers running enthusiasts a wide range of products designed to provide the best performance for professional and amateur athletes. "Running is one of FILA's positioning forefronts in Brazil, and being the official sports brand of one of the country's most traditional competitions is an honor and adds to the brand's strategy," said Felipe Rosa, FILA Brazil's Marketing Manager.

To strengthen its position within the sport and to further encourage engagement, the brand will offer 17 guests the experience of being able to feel like an elite athlete, when they will have the opportunity to start very close to FILA Running Team.

"Through this sponsorship and activations, we have a platform that includes experience and relationship to get closer to amateur athletes and present our collection of products, showing the most current and technological items we have to those who love street running. That helps us to gain recognition," said Rosa.
