Isner Wins for the Fifth Time at Atlanta, Zeballos Stays Hot in Doubles
FILA sponsored tennis player John Isner continued his impressive 2018 campaign Sunday, defeating Ryan Harrison 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to capture the BB&T Atlanta Open title. The win marks Isner’s fifth win in his last six attempts in Atlanta, and is his second consecutive win in the final over Harrison.

Isner used a dominant forehand all week to overcome the likes of Alex de Minaur, Mischa Zverev and Matthew Ebden en route to the final. “It’s incredible, and I think I said it last year, I feel like there may come a time where I’m not back in the finals, or I’m not the champion again, but as it stands right now, I’m very happy to be the champ here,” said Isner of his remarkable history at the BB&T Atlanta Open.

Isner is in the midst of his career best season on the ATP World Tour, having secured his first Masters 1000 title earlier in the year at the Miami Open. Isner also made his career first Grand Slam semifinal, two weeks ago at Wimbledon.

FILA sponsored tennis player Horacio Zeballos and partner Julio Peralta continued their dominance on the ATP World Tour doubles ladder Sunday, defeating Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic 6-1, 4-6, 10-1 at the German Open Tennis Championships, presented by Kampmann.

The win in Hamburg is Zeballo’s second in as many weeks (Båstad), and third overall in 2018. “It is amazing," said Zeballos. "I have been watching this tournament since I was a kid. It is a very important tournament and it is such an honor to win this. We are really, really happy."

Zeballos has now accumulated 10 career tour-level doubles championships, six of which have come with Peralta. Zeballos is currently ranked No. 31 in the men’s doubles ladder.

FILA’s Sponsored Athletes to Debut Heritage Collection in Melbourne
(FILA Global) - Over the last half century, FILA has been a part of countless iconic moments on the court, outfitting extraordinary individuals who challenge limits and defy expectations through a seamless combination of power and grace. Since its historic introduction of color to the tennis court in 1973, FILA continues to make its mark on the tennis fashion game.

Beginning in Melbourne, FILA’s top tennis athletes will be dressed in the new Heritage collection. The Heritage story will unfold throughout the 2017 season, as FILA serves up new styles for each major tournament, with apparel that continues to reflect the brand’s rich history in the game.

The Heritage range for women and men features a simple, clean color palette, and a variety of timeless designs. FILA pays homage to its original Italian aesthetic, returning to authentic details from 1970’s FILA tennis. The brand’s signature navy, white and red hues combined with details like windowpane jacquard patterns and knit collars, creates a decidedly modern collection, while still staying true to FILA’s roots.

The Australian Open marks the debut of the Heritage range. FILA athletes including Karolina Pliskova, Jelena Jankovic, John Isner, Marin CIlic, Sam Querrey, and Andreas Seppi, will wear the designs on-court during the season’s first Grand Slam.

Women’s Heritage Collection:
The women’s Heritage range features three silhouettes of tops, including a racerback tank, full coverage tank and cap sleeve top. The collection’s navy/white/Chinese red palette is decorated with contrast color sleeves and stripes and finished off with the embroidered F-Box patch logo. The Heritage skort and Heritage pleated skort were designed to pair back to each of the tops. The collection’s highlight is the Heritage Polo Dress, offering an updated twist on a classic design for a simple yet strong statement. The Heritage Jacket and Heritage Pant complete the line.

The women’s Heritage collection retails from $54 to $90 and is available on FILA.com and at tennis specialty retailers in the United States and Canada.

Men’s Heritage Collection:
On the men’s side, the Heritage range consists of four tops, including two crew neck shirts and two polo shirts. Pieces are offered in both solid and windowpane designs, in keeping with the brand’s signature red, white and navy color scheme. To coordinate back to the tops, the Heritage shorts are also offered in solid hues and windowpane patterns. The windowpane bottoms features an elastic waistband with signature stripe. The Heritage Jacket and Heritage Pant round out the collection. All items featured the embroidered F-Box logo.
