Horacio Zeballos Captures First Masters 1000 Doubles Title at Indian Wells
FILA sponsored tennis player Horacio Zeballos and partner Nikola Mektic won the BNP Paribas Open men’s doubles title Saturday evening, defeating the No. 6 seeded team of Lukascz Kubot and Marcelo Melo 4-6, 6-4, 10-3.

Playing in just their second tournament together, the duo secured incredible upsets over Edmund/Skupski, Herbert/Mahut [1], Cabal/Farah [5] and Marach/Pavic [3] en route to a championship victory over Kubot and Melo.

The win makes Zeballos the first Argentine to win the BNP Paribas Open doubles title since 1976. It is his second circuit title of 2019 and 12th of his career.

FILA Tennis Athlete Marin Cilic Wins 2016 Swiss Indoors Title & Qualifies for ATP World Tour Finals in London
(FILA Global) - FILA sponsored tennis athlete Marin Cilic, captured the 2016 Swiss Indoors Title in Basel, Switzerland. Cilic defeated Kei Nishikori in straight sets to claim the victory. This marks Marin’s second title of the season. In August, he was crowned the men’s singles champion at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati.

Cilic has also qualified for the ATP World Tour Finals in London, set to take place from November 13-20 at The O2 in London. He secured his spot following his a third-round win over David Goffin on at the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, ​

Cilic first joined the FILA family when he was 16 years old, as a junior player. After a few years apart, he reunited with the brand, signing a sponsorship agreement with FILA prior to the 2016 U.S. Open.
